Most people who reach out to Mota have already tried the obvious options.
This isn't a form page. Tell us where you are and what you need, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
What actually happens when you reach out
You'll hear back from a person, not an automated response, not a scheduling link, not a questionnaire. Someone on the Mota team will read what you've sent and reply directly, usually within one business day.
The first conversation is diagnostic, not transactional. We want to understand your situation before we make any recommendations, asking a few questions, listening carefully, and being straight with you about what Mota can and can't do.
If we're not the right fit, we'll say so. We'd rather end the conversation there than waste your time.
What to expect, depending on who you are
Three audiences. One standard.
You've looked at the studios you know and you're still not confident you're talking to the right people.
If you think Mota represents a roster of VFX studios we work with, this conversation will change that.
Mota is a data-driven hub that gives filmmakers access to the full landscape, not a curated selection. That includes studios in tax territories you may not have considered, vetted lesser-known houses that don't show up in the usual searches, and data-backed production scenarios built before you go to bid.
You'll speak with someone who has direct experience working with VFX studios on production, not a sales rep reading from a brief. Expect questions about your project, timeline, budget range, and what you've already tried. We'll tell you whether Mota's network is the right fit and, if it is, what qualified introductions might look like for your specific situation.
There's no commitment required. The first conversation is just that.
You're winning work, but not always the work you want, and not as early in the process as you'd like.
Creative Partner membership isn't right for every studio, and we won't pretend otherwise. It's also not a short-term fix. If you're looking for results in three months, we'll say that upfront and save you both time. The studios that benefit most are the ones who understand that finding the work is a long-term game, and who want a genuine partner in that effort.
The first conversation is about understanding your current pipeline, what projects you want to be winning, and where your BD gaps are. We'll be honest about what early market intelligence and Mota introductions can realistically change, and what they can't. If it looks like a fit, we'll walk you through how membership works, what it costs ($5,000/month), and what you can expect in return.
You have the credits. You know your craft. But meaningful work surfaces through conversations you're not always part of.
You won't be asked to fill in a profile or upload a CV. You'll have a real conversation with someone who understands VFX credits, how productions are staffed, and what experienced professionals are looking for at different stages of a career.
Tell us where you are, what you've done, and what you're trying to do next. We'll take it from there.

Why this matters
The VFX industry has enough services that optimise for volume. Mota is built on a different premise: that the right introduction, made at the right time, between people who know each other's work, is worth more than any number of automated matches. That's not a marketing position. It's the reason this company exists.
